How to participate:

1. First and foremost, based on your area of interest and the nature of the blog you wish to write, you need to register to either IndicThreads.com or QThreads.com or PythonThreads.com.
2. Login to the site using the login form provided on the site.
3. A "User Menu" will now appear. Click the "Write a Blog Entry" link in this menu.
4. Write, save and publish your entry.
5. You can add as many blogs entries as you wish.
6. Remember that blogs need not be full fledged articles.
7. Do not use CSS for formatting your article. Stick to only the very basic HTML tags. We especially discourage usage of HTML generated by MSWord.
8. Note that you cannot edit the entry once you have posted it. So be careful and if you still for some reason post an incorrect entry, send the valid HTML to (editor at pythonthreads dot com)

Eligibility:

1. You must be a registered user.
2. All blogs submitted between 30th of Nov 05 and the 31st of Dec (site system date) will automatically be eligible..
3. Your display name must be a real name. It's no fun reading a contribution from abc12z.

The evaluation of the blogs will be based on these factors:

1. Relevance
2. Quality
3. Originality of content

** Instead of print books, we have switched to giving away e-books for this contest, so as to eliminate the possibility of shipping delays. So you will get your book soon after you win the contest. No delays!

Rules:

1. Blogs that use foul language will be disqualified.
2. The winners list will be displayed on the site. If you are one of the winners, we will email you the instructions o download your prize winning book.
3. Judges decision will be final.
4. Rightrix Media reserves the right to cancel the contest without any notice.
5. Rightrix Media is free to use the content of your blog anywhere on this or any other site. You will be given credit wherever the content is used.
6. The publishers have agreed to provide the specified books to the winners. However Rightrix Media is not responsible for any failure to deliver.
7. Please provide one week for you to receive the instructions to download your winning copy.
8. It must be legal to send the books to your country and for you to receive the same.
